Accommodations
Our home for the week is a charming guesthouse with spacious rooms and Caribbean wood bungalows nestled among palm trees and tranquil gardens just 100 meters from the sea. It is the perfect haven for nature enthusiasts who prefer the slow, sustainable style of tourism. You can enjoy paradise while immersed in our natural world.
Yoga is an environmentally conscious practice that encourages a connection with the Earth and a sense of responsibility for the planet. Palomino is a village that is attempting to resist large hotels that consume the limited resources. Bringing this mindful awareness to our travel, we chose a location that embraces sustainable practices so there is no air conditioning or heated hot water, but prior guests share that you really don’t need a steamy, hot shower when you rinse off in this sub-tropical climate (and the water is definitely warmer than Good Harbor Beach in August!).

Yoga Retreat: Sunday, March 16, 2025 – Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Retreat Guesthouse in Palomino, Colombia
Due to the evening arrival time of flights for those arriving directly from Boston, hotel rooms in Santa Marta are included for the night of March 15.
Guests are welcome to fly out on March 22; however, hotel rooms in Santa Marta are also included on March 22 if the transport from the retreat center is too late to catch an early morning flight.
For those who are exploring Colombia before and after the retreat, the evenings of March 15 and March 22 are not officially part of the retreat, and you are welcome to stay elsewhere, but this will not change the pricing of the retreat. There are several flight options each day to/from Cartagena, Medellin, and Bogata each day.
Nourishment
Three meals a day made from local, fresh ingredients, many of which are harvested from the property’s gardens and caught right off the local shores. The chef can accommodate vegan and vegetarian diets, as well as food allergies and intolerances.
Fresh water, tea, and Colombian coffee available throughout the day.
Guests can purchase additional food, snacks, and drinks from the Restaurant/Beach Bar with a 10% discount on listed prices.

Erin is someone you’re blessed to have on your side. Having never done a yoga retreat I didn’t know what to expect. Erin is a true leader who gave us a schedule and options. She is kind and caring and fun to be around. I’m ready for the next trip before I finished the first one!
This is my second retreat with Erin and it will not be my last. Erin is amazing! She puts so much time and effort into finding the perfect retreat locations. The planned activities are always fun and interesting. Erin is a phenomenal yoga instructor. I get so much out of her classes and meditations. She puts the extra effort in to make sure everyone is getting what they need from the retreats. If you go on a retreat knowing no one, at the end you have a whole new community of friends. I highly recommend treating yourself to a retreat with Treetop Yoga!
This experience far exceeded my expectations. Erin made this such an amazing retreat. There was something for everyone from meditation to fun! Great yoga, activities and community service. Life changing! Erin also set the bar high for my first yoga retreat experience.
